2014 Settle Sessions launched
Some comments from our evenings:
Settle
Sessions is going very well, that last one was magnificent the best
yet. ED
The sessions have got me reading poetry
again, getting out all my books. At the moment it is Ted Hughes'
Birthday Letters because of the recent T.V. programme. OB
Am delighted that SS is going from
strength to strength and enjoy following you from a distance. CS
Thank you so much for ....Friday's Settle Session. Carol and I thoroughly enjoyed it - such a lovely atmosphere, an appreciative audience and a wonderful variety of voices. And, of course, Mike [Barlow] never fails to impress.
an
altogether very friendly and enjoyable evening. I though Veronica's
monologue was real quality and the performance utterly convincing. And I
admire the way you handle the readers from the floor, sensibly managed.
Congratulations on getting it together and holding it together. I hope
it continues to thrive. Mike Barlow

We have four evenings during the year for our series of poetry and short story readings.
